Scarlett can be shy when she meets new people, and takes some time to warm up. Once she's feeling comfortable with you, you'll find this sensitive gal leaning into your lap asking for ear scratches and giving some kisses. She gains confidence while playing with other canine pals, so her ideal home would have a dog sibling (or 2!)! She would thrive in a quiet home that will give her ample time to decompress in the new environment and get used to all the new sounds and surroundings. She should be given time to build a bond with her new family members and gain trust before begining to meet new people. Having adopters that are able to read and respect her body language and understand when she's feeling uncomfortable will help set her up for success. She would benefit from meeting any potential canine siblings during her meets with potential human friends.
