Kcalb (pronounced "Kell-Bee") is a very sweet, gentle 5 year old beauty that is waiting to find a family that will welcome her into their hearts and home. Kcalb has most likely spent the majority of her life outside, so coming to the shelter was a huge change for her. She was a tad worried, but it didn't take long for her to make some friends! This concern could reappear when she is adopted, so Kcalb will need adopters that will give her as much time as she needs, to settle into her new home. Allowing her to adjust to just household members before slowly expanding her world, will be the key to success. She may enjoy living with another dog buddy. A dog savvy, easy going cat, may be a possibility, with well managed introductions. Older kids that have good shy dog skills and will be respectful of her needs, will be considered.
